in a dry cool pantry, fresh, raw shallots can last up to a months; in the refrigerator up to 2 months. In a cool pantry peeled shallots can last approx. 10 days; in the refrigerator they can last 1 to 2 months.

250g (approx. 3 banana shallots, depending on the size), loose in paper bag.

Banana Shallots are best suited for both raw and cooked applications such as roasting, sautéing, frying, stewing, and braising. Banana shallots can also be cooked and lightly caramelized to add sweet and subtle flavors to soups, curries, and stews, minced and cooked into sauces, lightly sautéed in vegetable stir-fries, or braised with cooked meats.
