Terms & Conditions
In these terms and conditions, “The Grocery Club”, “we” or “us” means The Grocery Club and “customers” or “you” means any person who places an order and/or use any function on our website.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before shopping with us. By using the website or any part of it, you agree that you have read these terms and conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them.
General
The Grocery Club shall make every effort to ensure that prices and details of the products on this website are up to date. Prices are subject to change without prior notice and all orders are subject to our acceptance at our sole discretion and stock availability.
The prices charged are those applicable on the day of you order.
All orders are subject to confirmation of final availability and we reserve the right to decline any order at our sole discretion. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify the customer by phone, email, SMS or WhatsApp before delivery.
It is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18. By placing an order with alcohol products, the customer confirms that he/she is 18 years old or above. The customer shall ensure that no person shall use his/her login to purchase alcohol products and a person aged 18 or above (identification required) must be present to take delivery or delivery shall be withdrawn and attempted at another time agreed.
Membership Registration
During the registration of membership:
- You must provide us with accurate, complete and up to date registration information.
- You must safeguard your username and password.
- You authorize us to assume that any person using the site with your username and password is either you or is authorized to act on behalf of you.
The Grocery Club has the absolute discretion to refuse registration of a potential customer and to terminate the registration of any customer for any reason whatsoever.
You shall inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided so that we can communicate with you effectively.
Breakage
The customer is requested to examine the goods immediately upon delivery for any deficiencies and/or damages. Claims (if any) must be lodged to The Grocery Club at +852 3528 0348 on the date of delivery, otherwise we shall have the discretion to refuse your claim after delivery.
Return & Exchange Policy
Items sold are non-refundable.
Should the products be found defective, exchange of product in the original packaging may be arranged provided that the customer informs The Grocery Club at +852 3528 0348 within 24 hours upon receipt of goods. The receipt of goods will serve as a proof of purchase.
The Grocery Club reserves the right to amend terms & conditions and of final decision on all matters of disputes.

Title
All risks in the products shall pass to the customer upon delivery but we shall retain title in the products until full payment has been received.
Force Majeure
The Grocery Club shall not be liable for any delay or failure in its performance caused by or resulting from acts of God, fire, flood, accident, riot, war, government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond the control of us.
Payment Terms
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay for payment.
All product prices listed are in Hong Kong Dollars (HK$).
To provide secure online commerce transactions, we use Shopify Payments. It encrypts the customer’s personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it would not be read as the information travels over the internet. The customer’s offer to purchase made on www.the-groceryclub.com shall be subject to our sole discretion and may not be accepted subject to the availability of stock or other reason. A final and conclusive invoice will be presented to the customer upon delivery.
We may from time to time set credit limits for individual customers and we reserve the right to limit sales including the right to decline sales to any customers.
We reserve the right to change the payment terms for any order without prior notice.
Delivery
- For Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories areas:
Standard Delivery - Next Day
Free delivery for orders above HK$650.
HK$100 (Hong Kong Island); HK$200 (Kowloon and New Territories) delivery charge for orders less than HK$650. CNY delivery charges are HK$80.
*Applicable to single delivery address only. Extra HK$100 will be charged for re-delivery arrangement.

Notes:
- Order will be dispatched as soon as possible. The earliest delivery time would be the same day. Specific delivery time is not available.
- For bulk purchases of more than one case, we will confirm the delivery date with you directly.
- In the event of a lift breakdown during delivery we will make arrangements to deliver the goods at another time.
- Delivery service will be suspended when the typhoon signal No.8 or above or the black rainstorm signal is hoisted. In this event customers will be contacted to re-schedule delivery time.
- If delivery is delayed, postponed, or cancelled due to traffic, weather, different district or other factors, The Grocery Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage, no matter whether the factor which causes the delay, postponement or cancellation is within the control of The Grocery Club or not.
- Self-Pickup
Pickup at Unit 1406, Oceanic Industrial Centre, 2, Lee Lok Street, Ap Lei Chau, Hong Kong.

Notes:
- Customers may choose to collect the online order at our designated pickup location, with proof of purchase including order confirmation number at the time of pickup.
- Customers are required to sign a form confirmation at time of collection and by doing so, the customer shall accept the responsibility for the products ordered and picked up.
- Order must be picked up within 3 days upon payment. Customer will be responsible for the quality of the products we reserved for the pickup after 3 days.
Remarks:
- When you place an order, the prices charged are those applicable on the day you order.
- Delivery service is currently not available for the Outlying Islands, including Cheung Chau, Lantau Island and Lamma Island.
- Delivery service is not applicable to areas that cannot be reached directly by our vehicles.
- For walk-up buildings, delivery fee includes free delivery up to the third floor (counting from the ground floor); an additional delivery fee of HK$40 per floor is applicable. Any additional delivery fee can be paid directly to the delivery driver at time of delivery.
- As our vehicles cannot reach Big Wave Bay Village, Shek O without permission letters, please contact us before delivery on a mutually agreed pick up/delivery point.
- All orders are subject to confirmation of final availability by the-groceryclub.com. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you by phone or email before delivery.
- Customers shall allow us to access to the designated delivery location and ensure that a responsible person is at the delivery location provided to receive the order. If such a responsible person is not present at the time of delivery, customers hereby consent to us leaving the order at the delivery location they have nominated. The customer accepts responsibility for the order thereon.
- Upon receipt of items, we require your signature to confirm you have received the goods in good order. You may nominate someone else to sign on your behalf if you are not present. Any signature on the delivery note shall be considered evidence that the order and delivery is complete.
- We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee if the recipient fails to accept delivery at the nominated delivery time.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to notify us at least six hours before delivery of any change to the delivery address after placing the order.
- We reserve the right to decline delivery of goods to any customer at our sole discretion.
Disclaimer
When you place an order, the prices charged are those applicable on the day you order.
All orders are subject to confirmation of final availability and The Grocery Club reserves the right to reject the order in the event that any of the products or services requested are unavailable. In the event that we are unable to fulfil any of the products or services in your order, we will notify you by phone or email before delivery.
We reserve the right to cancel the order If customer fail to collect the order within the pick-up period.
We reserve the right to decline delivery of goods to any customer at our sole discretion absolutely.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the People's Republic of China and the customer and The Grocery Club agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. The Grocery Club may revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. If any dispute arises, The Grocery Club’s determination shall be final.
Text Marketing Terms and Conditions:
By consenting to The Grocery Club’s SMS marketing in the checkout and initializing a purchase or subscribing via our subscription tools, you agree to receive recurring text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal do-not-call list. Message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications, reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests, will not be considered a reasonable means of opting out. We do not charge for the service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message and data rates may apply.

We have the right to modify any telephone number or short code we use to operate the service at any time. You will be notified on such occasions. You agree that any messages you send to a telephone number or short code we have changed, including any STOP or HELP requests, may not be received, and we will not be liable for honoring requests made in such messages.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
