The Tomahawk steak is named for its resemblance to a tomahawk (the battle ax of the Native Americans). Approx. 30 cm long. Defined as the "carnivore's delight" because of its special taste, it is one of the tastiest and most succulent steaks that can be tasted, it can only be tasted in the best steak houses in the world.
The meat is very aromatic and tasty and has a clear "core" of fat. The thin fibers and the strong marbling make it tender and juicy, ideal for cooking on the grill.
Italian beef, from sustainable farming. No preservative or colorant added, therefore the color of the beef might be slightly darker than other beef, but this doesn't impact the freshness.

Storage: store the steak in the freezer at -18°C.
To Defrost: leave it in the fridge overnight. This will keep the meat at a temperature that prevents harmful bacteria from gaining a foothold, and it won't take away from the taste and texture of the meat at all.
